In the midst of networking and lunching, HRM picked the brains of some of the inspiring speakers at the recent AHRI Inclusion and Diversity conference.

The AHRI Inclusion and Diversity conference in Sydney was one for the books. Held at the elegant Hyatt Regency, the conference showcased both insightful data and the experiences of business and diversity thought leaders.

HRM managed to corner Sally Evans, Gill Hicks, the Fire & Rescue NSW team, Louise Azzopardi and Giam Swiegers to get their thoughts on what matters most.

My Bespoke Recruiter is a disability lead small recruitment and hr consulting business. I agree that one is with inclusion and diversity is that its description is dynamic. I also think that the problem with Inclusion and Diversity is related to fear of the unknown that leads to false assumptions about competency and on going costs associated with the recruitment of people that require reasonable adjustments and, therefore limiting the discussion to just CALD or Male/Female ratios.
