10 must-see attractions at the 2014 AHRI National Convention


With a mix of sessions from international HR thought leaders and senior practitioners, as well as plenty of formal and informal entertainment, learning and networking, this year’s AHRI National Convention & Exhibition, held 20–21 August, offers something for everyone.

1. Ita Buttrose, AO, OBE

Talking about success, Ita Buttrose is always a fascinating person to listen to. She’ll be opening proceedings with a keynote.

2. Welcome reception

The welcome reception and exhibition opening from 6–8pm on Tuesday 19 August is a great way to meet delegates with whom you’ll be spending the next two days in a relaxed atmosphere.

3. Thinkers50

Distinguished Thinkers50 list members, Marshall Goldsmith, Tamara Erickson and Vineet Nayar, are all speaking at the convention. Plus, you have the opportunity to meet the three global leadership experts at designated book signing times.
