Raymond Trau
Raymond Trau is a lecturer in the School of Management at RMIT University. His research focuses on stigma and stigmatisation (particularly LGBTI related issues) in the workplace, workplace diversity, mentoring, and corporate social responsibility. He is currently collaborating with researchers from Australia, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Raymond’s research has been published in a number of international journals such as Human Resource Management and British Journal of Management. Additionally, the Financial Times (in London), The Australian, HR Monthly, ABC News and ABC Radio have interviewed or mentioned his research. Raymond holds a PhD from Monash University. Prior to joining RMIT, Raymond worked as a research fellow at University of Queensland, University of Sydney, University of Western Australia and Curtin University focusing on diversity and social impact research projects. In 2010 and 2011, Raymond served as an academic/research advisor for Pride in Diversity and participated in the development of the first Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI).
