HRM TV: HR in social media 14/12-18/12

It’s the last HR social media roundup for the year! Sarah Miller gives us some of the highlights of what’s happened recently in HR on social media. On the agenda: why you shouldn’t feel guilty about discussing difficulties, even if they are ‘first-world problems’; using websites such as Skill Share to e-learn; and  some great advice on staying in touch during the holidays. Plus, as we wrap up for this year, here’s why you should take a look at your social media use and assess whether you are following Sarah’s motto: If you’re having fun, and it’s not at someone else’s expense, then you’re doing it right.

Have a topic you want covered? Let Sarah know by tweeting @sarahmillerau. This video is part of a series of vlogs for HRM TV on social media. Check back every week for a roundup of what you missed, what you should watch out for and what you can do to get more involved online.

Check out AHRI’s social media pages on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook for more. And don’t forget to follow HRM’s editor Amanda Woodard on Twitter @HRMeditor for updates about what’s happening in the HR industry around Australia.
